In 1981, Horizon Events was founded as the events arm of Horizon Systems, an early computer systems integrator in San Jose, California. Horizon's unique mega-track conference concept evolved slowly from mini-seminars given at Chamber of Commerce luncheons to multi-track conferences presented in conjunction with large technology expos and business membership association meetings. Typical Horizon Events technology conferences are up to dozens of tracks wide, attracting both technical and non-technical (marketing and executive) attendees.

Today, Horizon Events is well into it’s third decade as the world leader in technology events for membership organizations.
