Thanks for all your help with the Connect 2000 Technology Briefing.  We had such success presenting at the Phoenix Connect 2000 Technology Briefing 6/29/2000 that we would like to participate in any other shows in the Southwest.  Please have your sales staff contact me when the next event takes place anywhere in the Southwest.

Our marketing funds must be spent very wisely.  So, I usually look for activities that will directly generate hot leads.  During the event all of our briefings were well attended (which had been my main fear).  In fact, two out of the seven sessions were packed with people having to stand in the back of the room.  And, as you promised the attendees were CEOs, CIOs, CFOs and government decision makers.  The only session that was not well attended was the one during lunch, which I was grateful for anyway since I needed a break. 
 
As far as lead generation, we met one governmental agency that was immediately looking for the type of software we provide.  They attended one of our sessions on Computer Based Network FAX.  As it turned out, they had the funds budgeted and needed to make the purchase before the end of their fiscal year.  The day after Connect I delivered the product and recouped the entire cost of presenting.  We imported the attendee list you gave us on disk into our contact management software and have been making follow calls and visits ever since the show.
 
As I write this note a month and a half after the event, I have many more great leads to follow up on with some prospects that have gone all the way through the sales cycle and are about to purchase.  If these purchase, it will generate approximately $60,000 in sales for us.
 
All in all, everything about the show was fantastic including attendance, organization, banners, and your staff.  There is no way I could have put on a more successful seminar myself.  If I had to choose between doing a trade show or presenting at a Connect Briefing, I’d choose Connect every time.
